Celebrating 30 years in 2012, Tangent Corporation is the oldest privately held search firm providing the Washington, DC metropolitan area with retained, contingency search services as well as selective temporary services. Our longevity speaks to our adaptability, deep knowledge of the market, and to the quality of our work. We also have a sister office, Tangent West, serving Denver and Vail, Colorado.
We specialize in recruiting executive administrative, professional, digital and social media positions. Our clients and contacts are both domestic and international as well as for profit and non-profit organizations. We seek, recruit and evaluate candidates who stand out among their peers. We bring to the table:

Celebrations and Events
We recently had an event to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Former Tangent employees who attended the party traveled from New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, Massachusetts and Baltimore to reunite and reminisce. Two former employees who came had retired from Tangent after 25 years with the company. Others came who left Tangent over 10 years ago. One of our prizes went to an individual we placed in her position 27 years ago…and she’s still there. Talk about lasting impressions!
